Summer fun in the sun has just begun!!!

Well, Liam and I Have been swimmin as much as we can this summer. He loves to be in the water and justs chills out in his floating wearing his cool sunglasses. All he needs is a marguerita. Liam is crawling and pulling himself up on furniture. We haven't had too many big bumps and bruises yet. He loves to eat real food and is such a good sport with whatever I put in his mouth. I tried Kiwi fruit today mixed with oatmeal and he kept giving me sour faces so I put him out of his misery and gave him soup. I am having a lot of fun being a mom and I'm wishing I had more energy. I have struggled the past few months and am really tired. I am going to the dr. to see what I can do. I need to be able to keep up with the little guy because he will be running soon!

Liam 8 months old!!!

I have been such a slacker and have not updated my blog...Well here are some neat pictures that we took for Liam at 8 months and for father's day. Don't say anything to Ryan because they are a surprise...Liam is now crawling and starting to pull himself up. He likes to just crawl and look around and sit up and see what is around him. He is very observant and loves to people watch! He is such a flirt with the ladies and has an adorable smile.

Liam's Blessing Day

Liam was blessed on Sunday and it was very nice to finally do it. He of course was crying during the blessing right into the microphone but so adorable at the same time. Ryan did a great job and was the proud daddy! Liam looked so precious in his little three piece suit and bow tie. Liam loves his daddy and enjoys spending lots of time with Ryan. Ryan spoils him with lots of love and attention. We are lucky and blessed..

Ups and downs of life

Well we found out last week that we were expecting and then I started spotting. I went to the doctor on Monday and things didn't look good for the pregnancy. We did some blood work and it came back not good and this week I am pretty sure I had a miscarriage. I am doing okay with it because I had a feeling the pregnancy was not healthy. I am very happy and feel so blessed to have Liam in our lives and he is so loved and spoiled. Ryan and I were kind of sad and disappointed b/c we were getting excited about another kid on the way even though it wasn't planned. However, we will move forward with our lives and be happy with where we are now. We love being parents and Liam is so adorable and cute and keeps us smiling and on our toes. He is learning so much and growing. He seems to really think about things and tries to figure something out before he tries it. He is a talker and is very interactive.

Liam is four months!!!

Liam is almost four months and he is growing and learning in so many ways. Today he rolled over for the first time. Yippee! He is finally sleeping in his crib. He is on his third night. He is mostly sleeping 12 hours through the night. Finally, some sleep for me and Ryan. Liam loves to be a big boy and stand and sit up. He loves to talk and have long conversations of baby babble. Baby babble is so cute and irresistable! We have a daily routine of different play and learning activities and I try to make him take naps but he fights them hard. We had to switch his formula because he continued to have digestive problems and was always constipated and in pain. We are now using Enfamil GentleEase formula. If anyone has any suggestions on coupons or how I can get it cheaper please let me know. It is $25 a can. He goes through a can in five days! Yikes!

Liam's first Christmas!!!

Our first Christmas with baby Liam was so awesome and I felt so blessed to have him. I couldn't think of any other presents that I wanted for Christmas because he was really all I wanted. He did get spoiled but didn't really care. He was a little cranky by the 100th present to be opened. Enjoy these fun pictures!

Happy Holidays....

Liam is growing in so many ways. I can't believe how fast it happens. He is smiling and cooing all the time. He loves to make sounds back and forth and gets so excited and sort of giggles and squirms. He loves to kick and be up and moving. He loves tummy time and does the army crawl in place. He will be three months old this Saturday! These are just some recent fun pictures of Liam and some with his daddy. There is a four generation picture of Liam, Ryan, Steve, and Grandpa Jaynes. Pretty cool! Also, Liam's first visit to see Santa. He was a good sport but wasn't totally loving it. Next year he might scream and cry and even hit Santa.
